Who Endorses Birch Gold Group and What That Endorsement Is Worth

Birch Gold Group runs one of the largest celebrity endorsement programmes in the gold IRA industry. If you found this page after hearing the company named on a podcast or a talk show, the useful question is not who recommends it, but what that recommendation is actually based on.

Here is the current list, checked against Birch Gold Group’s own endorsements page on September 7, 2026, and what an endorsement does and does not tell you.

This page contains affiliate links. We may earn a commission if you open an account through one of them, at no extra cost to you. It does not change the figures below.

Who Is on Birch’s Endorsement List Today

Birch publishes its partner list openly. As of September 2026 it names Ron Paul, Dan Bongino, Stephen K. Bannon, Megyn Kelly, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton, Chad Prather, Vince Coglianese, Lance Wallnau, Rob Carson, Dr. Gina Loudon, Jeff Crouere, Pat Gray, Steve Deace, and the programmes Live From Studio 6B and American Sunrise.

The list is almost entirely conservative talk radio, podcasting and cable commentary. That is a deliberate audience strategy rather than a coincidence, and Birch is not unusual in this. American Hartford Gold uses the same playbook with a different roster.

Names That Circulate but Are Not on the List

Ben Shapiro is frequently linked to Birch Gold Group in older articles, including an earlier version of this page. He does not appear anywhere on Birch’s endorsements page as of September 7, 2026. We have corrected this page rather than leave the claim standing.

That is worth knowing in itself. Endorsement relationships in this industry are commercial contracts, and they start and end. A name attached to a company in a 2023 article tells you nothing about 2026.

What an Endorsement Actually Is

A celebrity endorsement is a paid marketing relationship. Under FTC guidance the endorser is expected to disclose the material connection, and the endorsement reflects a commercial arrangement rather than an audit of the company’s pricing.

What an endorsement does not cover:

  • The premium you will be quoted. No endorser reviews the spread between spot price and what you pay for a coin, and that spread is the largest cost in most gold IRAs.
  • The fee schedule. Annual custodian and storage costs vary by hundreds of dollars between dealers.
  • The complaint record. Endorsements are agreed before disputes are filed, not after.

None of this makes Birch a bad company. It is BBB accredited with an A+ rating and publishes its full fee schedule, which several competitors do not. It just means the endorsement is not evidence of any of that.

What to Check Instead

Three numbers decide whether a gold IRA dealer suits you, and none of them appear in an advertisement.

  1. The minimum. Birch opens an IRA at a $5,000 initial purchase, the lowest published entry point among the major dealers.
  2. The annual fee. $235 flat, made up of $110 storage and insurance plus $125 management, with a $50 setup charge. It does not rise with your balance, which cuts both ways depending on account size.
  3. The premium on the metal. Ask for it as a percentage over spot, in writing, on every item proposed, and ask for a plain bullion quote alongside anything else you are offered.

We go through all three, plus the BBB complaint record with dates, in our Birch Gold Group review. If you want to see how the company sits against Augusta, Goldco, American Hartford Gold and Noble Gold on minimum and fees, start with our comparison of the major gold IRA companies. And because the sales incentive is the same whoever endorsed the company, it is worth understanding how gold IRA salespeople are paid before you take the first call.

The Takeaway

Treat an endorsement as what it is: an advertisement that tells you which audience a company is trying to reach. Then check the minimum, the annual fee and the premium yourself. Birch holds up reasonably well on the first two. The third is the one you have to ask for.
